By
offering me your system are you saying I am a bad parent?
No. Many parents at some point over the course of raising
their children into adulthood find it necessary to get help.
They will at some point consult with their parents, grandparents,
pastor, neighbor, friends, sister, brother, teacher or professional
resources to get advice on how to deal with a situation
involving their child’s behavior. That is the beauty
of community.
Don't be ashamed to ask for help or take it to mean you
are a bad parent. There is no such thing as a perfect parent
or perfect child. Raising children is a hard job and no
one can do it alone. There are plenty of professionals who
can help you with issues of discipline. You can also find
local groups that can help you learn better parenting skills.

What
age does the child need to be?
When
I begin using and developing the Points Method™
my oldest son was six, my youngest son was four, and
little Derrick (our neighbor's child) was three
years old. My oldest son is now 13 years old and
the system is just as effective. After speaking with
other parents and teachers that are using our system
with children 14, 15, 16, and up, ranging in grades
from 8th to the 12th grade, I can say with complete
confidence that if you have a child under your supervision
POINTS will offer positive results.
